      THE ANNEX

And thanks to the proximity to both subway lines, from here you can easily get to just about anywhere in the city.


      This neighbourhood is an outstanding presence in Toronto’s music and cultural scene thanks to its varied venues.

      Location

      One of the Annex's most famous residents was the wonderful urban thinker and writer Jane Jacobs who moved to the neighbourhood in 1968 from New York City. It's also home to Margaret Atwood and home to other notable Canadian writers.
